iFit | Revolutionary fitness tracking App Reviews

Unsatisfied

Well the product works good but seems to be designed for an American consumer as many entries come back unknown while others can only be found using the barcode scanner. This is easy enough to do but not always convenient in the middle of making dinner

Cant even sign up or sign in

Bought an exercise bike that can sync with this app. I saw the rating and now I understand why. App wont let me sign up, every time I try to finish registering the account the app crashes. Now it says I have account when I try to register, but if I try to sign in it says my account doesnt exist.

Good app

Overall this is a good app. I dont know why it has so many bad reviews. The syncing feature works perfectly for me. The app interface looks very good and professionally done. Good product overall. Thanks!

ProForm i400 Treadmill

Not sure why you would take the time out to customize a Bluetooth button and market the treadmill as Bluetooth compatible when this app only works with your wristband products. Waste of time, glad I picked up this treadmill at a fire sale price or it would be going back to the store.

Crap

Doesnt work wont record steps or distance for ifit link.

Awful

I use this with an iFit Classic. The app is bulky and unintuitive. The worst is that there is no way to enter custom food data. If its not in the database, too bad. You can enter calories from the watch, but only in groups of 50 cals at a time. Avoid the watch and app, there are much better on the market.

no iFit Wi-Fi module

All the progress I make on my treadmill with iFit Wi-Fi module get reported to my iFit account online but their no way to sync that to my iPhone Health app where most fitness apps sync. Yet another disappointment from a company that continues to fall short in many areas.

Definitely lacking

I got this app to work with the Pro-form in the NE 9.0 elliptical. However, the app wants me to input one of their wearable devices. I dont have one of theirs nor do I intend to get one. They should update the app for most of the wearables on the market. I paid a subscription for ifit and so far its pretty disappointing.

Ifit app

Tried to sign up but the app made it impossible to do . Will be deleting this app

Doesnt work with the if it treadmill I bought

Complete waste of my time. I bought a treadmill that says it is if it compatible but neither this app nor proform tell you that it doesnt work with the treadmill unless you buy an if it device similar to a Fitbit. Total BS if you ask me.

Horrible!!

This app is one of the worst Ive seen. Doesnt do anything it says. Tried to sync with Weslo treadmill. Its instruction manual said to use this app. The app has no help file, and appears to be primarily designed for use with ifit products. Would be soo nice of Apple invested just a little effort into Quality Control for the App Store.

Sub-par

I was gifted an iFit band in March. Was excited about the tracking capabilities of this band and app. But, it is seemingly just a Bluetooth pedometer...and a poor one, at that. You can input calories manually or through barcode scan. But there is no easy way to repeat common items without redundantly rescanning or re-searching. The band is supposed to count steps, and sync to app. Often, I will do a 25-30 min workout on an elliptical with 1100-1300 steps which the machine calculates as 250-300 cal burned. The band and app document it at 15 min and 70 cal. The final feature is sleep monitoring. No idea why the data is SO wrong. Some 7 hour nights it claims I slept 21-23 hours. I used to wish the iFit band would sync to something like MyFitness pal, or Apple Health, but I think the data would be too inaccurate to be useful. Bad App and bad hardware.

The sync with iPhone is really not efficient . Works once every 5 tries.

Needs better syncing support.

Calories

The calories count isnt working. It erases everytime you close the app

iFit Track

Terrible! Very hard to get started. Documentation/instructions terrible!!!

Cant figure out how to use an app

Paid $$$ dollars for treadmill that came with instructions to download iFit app. Installed one and it offers no choice to connect treadmill but gives a list of wearable devices. Select any and it will show treadmill available on Bluetooth. But that is it. Sync to device will stop in the middle with no indication why... Dashboard will disappear unless application is killed and started again. Still not working for me...

Useless garbage

Really, it is

Bad app and not too sure about the company

Bought the vue cause it came with the heart rate monitor. The vue doesnt seem to be accurate at all and the app is extremely poorly designed I would try to return it but an email to customer service usually doesnt get a response for a month or so.

App sync terrible

Cant log food. It either takes too long or says that the band needs to be synced again. It also says that my breakfast is 4 calories.

Legal trouble

I have to agree with the reviewer who alleged false advertising. I bought a hybrid trainer based on the proform and ifit web sites which promised the Bluetooth feature on the trainers would allow connection to my iPod through the ifit app. This was false. There is no Bluetooth connectivity. The app and the ifit membership is worthless. Proform and its parent Icon should be sued. What a disappointment.
