Paid $99.00, got zero out of it

This is the most worthless piece of equipment you could ever buy. It doesnt work, you spend more time trying to get it to connect and work you cant find time to work out on the $1600.00 treadmill

Complete BullShirt

Non product sold as product. There’s nothing here that works as advertise during the sale pitch and product documentation when I put out $ for a Tread Mill. Isn’t it supposed to be illegal to sell things you don’t possess ?

RE: iFit Link companion app

I havent played with the treadmill or the website, but I bought an iFit Link around Christmas, and I love the app and the band. Its hard to review the app without the band, because apparently its garbage for any other use, but the step counter is accurate, the calorie tracking aspect is great for premade food, and I feel enlightened by the sleep tracking. The only real complaint I have is how long it takes to sync when i open the app, but its slow because it uses BLE, and that cant be helped---- the battery lasts around six days for me, itd be less if it were full on Bluetooth. I think the app is more insightful than the Jawbone one, because it doesnt show how much your weight would change (1000 calories is a pound, and it averages your consumption with your burn into an easy to understand wheel. The further down the right side of the circle, the closer you are to gaining a pound, left is burn.)

Take negative reviews with a grain of salt.

First of off lets clear the scope. This is a review of an iphone app. Not a shopping experience at costco for a treadmill. I dont find it fair to ding an app because the company "might" a mistake with a treadmills advertisement or for all we know the buyer read it wrong. As for my ifit enabled treadmill the ifit software is installed on the treadmill itself it does not require a separate app on my phone to run. I wonder if these guys are just confused? In either case that is completely unrelated to this app which was specifically designed for working with the ifit wristbands. Now on to the review. I recently got the ifit vue to track my activity off the treadmill. Like some of the other reviews have stated, the app is a little bit clunky and missing some polish but its decent. I like the food catalog to help keep me in check. Especially when I can use bar codes to scan what Im eating and the app tells me if Im over doing it on sugar. I was shocked to find what I thought to be a healthy lunch turned out to be 73g of sugar. It will definitely help me make better choices and remove preconceived biases towards certain foods in the future. The vue itself seems pretty accurate as well. (Just wish it had a heart rate monitor) The app also did a far better job at monitoring my sleep behavior than another app I had been using (which used my phones mic). This app recorded how long I actually was in bed versus the other app stops once the alarm is shut off. As I said, I have a treadmill with ifit built in (and no there was no false advertising they clearly stated bluetooth was for chest heart rate straps only). Honestly, theres really no need to connect the band to your treadmill anyways. The band connects to your phone which connects to the cloud and the treadmill connects to your wifi which connects to the cloud so all the data is funneling in to the same place. This would only be an issue if: A) the power is out which your treadmill wont work anyway. But as long as cellular networks are up your band and this app would still update. B) Wi-Fi is out. Which is a result of faulty networking equipment. Again, band and app still work if cellular is up and running. The app has some nice features (though I have seen a few quirks syncing the app with the band) but it would be nice to see more data trending capabilities in the future.

Proform lies-this app DOES NOT CONNECT to hybrid trainer pro

Completely worthless. Does not connect or show any kind of stats from Proform Hybrid Trainer Pro. Joining IFit is an absolute waste of time and money. Without an IFit device (other then workout equipment) this will do nothing. Truly is false advertising.

Great for the price.

Everyone here whos written a review seems to have gotten their Act bracelet trough a packaged treadmill deal to which I have no knowledge. My scenario was this, headed to Walmart to purchase the Fitbit flex ($90), and they were sold out. I saw similar products nearby and the iFit Act was one of them, at $28 it records my calorie burn throughout the day so I can eat more calories accurately for weight gain purposes. And at night I set it to record my sleep patterns, which all can be synced to this iPhone app. Which for me so far has worked splendid. It does lack certain "luxuries" the Fitbit has (i.e. You must manually sync the Act via pressing 1 button, whereas Fitbit syncs randomly and automatically). Great product for the price! If any iFit reps see this id love some free upgrades & stuff! :P jk...but seriously 4/5*

IFit vue was used with app!!!

I originally bought the link but found the button to hard to press and I hated how I felt like I had a watch on but I couldnt see the time when I looked at it! So I went back and bought the Vue and I have to say I love it! I have had it for four days now and I just charged it again tonight (I probably still had a day or two on the battery 34% but I didnt wanna chance being out and it dying!) Now about the app its self! I love this app! I have a few things I feel could be better but I honestly like it just fine! App Pro: 1. Logs Calories intake and out all in one app! No app flipping and comparing! 2. It shows active calorie burn and resting calorie burn which means you know how much you burned naturally and how much you have worked off! 3. Its easy to sync and use! 4. It tracks your sleep really well! I sleep walk sometimes as an adult its happen less but still happens! And now I know if I got up and walked around in the night! 5. Good battery life! And charges fast! Went from 34% to 100% in about 1 and a half hours! 6. Has barcode scanner! Love this it makes eating snacks or milk so much easier to record! Now Cons/Improvements: 1. I wish you could view your food you had input and delete mistakes! I accidentally picked the wrong things before or wrong amount and there is no way of fixing it :/ 2. Something I noticed was the app sometimes doesnt sync up and you have to manually sync! Not a big deal just pull down on the main screen! 3. I wish that the alarm to wake you up would vibrate until you got up and shut it off it only vibrates for a second and thats not enough to wake me up! Over all I love the app and the band and I will be keeping it and using it! When it dies I might try another one but I like it and it does what I need so I see no reason to fix what isnt broke!

Irritating bugs

The barcode scanner and search bar in the food log almost never work. Logging my calories is a pretty huge part of my daily routine and if I cant use this app for that its a hassle and a waste of time to use it at all.

lfit is giving me fits !!

I dont know how it works because IT WONT SYNC !!!!!

Ifit app

The bar to search food and bar code never work. I have to go into a food preprogrammed category to get it to work. Also you can not add your own foods or nutritional values if you cant find a food. There is no way to delete an entry once its recorder. My ifit link recorded an activity that I did not do and I couldnt delete it. A lot more bugs to work out.

Trash

What a scam. Dont buy anything compatible with ifit. Youll regret it

If it Flex

Scanning barcode hardly ever works! When my wife an I walk her Fitbit and my Ifit show drastically different totals for walking. It is probably a good estimate of steps. Battery only last a few days.

Good but needs love....

Works good at times but the app really needs some love. The food scanner never works! Sync takes forever. Cant use the search without going into one of the food catalogs first.

Error 200?

Ifit app doesnt work. Sign in is broken. Keeps giving me error message every time I try to log in. Have tried to set up my account over 10 times and every time gives me error 200 message. Tried to reset password and told me no e-mail address not associated with known account even though site already linked with Facebook account. Hope it can be fixed by time assemble new exercise bike

IFit link

I really like my IFit link and Im happy with it along with the app, but I do wish that I can add my own personal recipes on there so that it can show how many calories there in the serving sizes I choose for myself. I dont really like that I have to add every bit of ingredient that o had put into that meal and have eaten.

Horrible custom service

It worked right for maybe a month then quit counting steps. wont sync with the app then seems to only count steps if my phone is with me. tried emailing customer service for almost 2 weeks no answer, called they left me on hold so long they closed for the day. horrible customer service they wont help they wont fix do not recommend

App Doesnt Work

Cant even sign up. Keep getting Error200? message. Tried signing up with email and User ID: Error200? Tried signing up with Facebook. Doesnt work either. Tried to contact Customer Support. Cant submit without signing in with sign in set up that doesnt work. Endless time wasting circles.

Crashes!

Crashes every time I try to sign up. Fix this!!!

Bad

This is a pathetic iphone fitness app. No other customization really can be done with it beyond name and weight. The device itself is terrible. Doesnt sync and shuts itself off.

Needs more work

This app isnt user friendly. It crashes a lot and wont let you make changes or adjust food log once its been entered. Needs a lot of work to it.
